Was versteht man unter Wirkungsgrad?
Am Ventilator kann man mehrere Einzelwirkungsgrade definieren: Innerer Wirkungsgrad (Gehäuse und Laufrad), mechanischer Wirkungsgrad (Lagerung, evtl. Dichtung) und Wirkungsgrad von Zusatzteilen (Kühlscheibe usw.).

Der Gesamtwirkungsgrad errechnet sich anhand einer physikalischen Gleichung.
