To secure our market position for the future and digitize our core processes from the ground up, we are launching our most ambitious greenfield software project to date. We are building the future digital neural system of our company—a completely new, service-oriented platform that intelligently controls and optimizes complex business processes.

    For this strategic, long-term key project, we are looking for a visionary and experienced Senior Frontend Developer (m/f/d) who will help shape the face and user experience of this platform from the ground up.

    Shaping the face of our new platform

    As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will be the architectural and creative mind behind all user interfaces of our new digital platform. You will create intuitive, high-performance, and modern user interfaces for the digitalization of our complex core processes. You will not be working on an existing system, but will have the unique opportunity to create an outstanding user experience from scratch according to the highest standards.

  • Responsibility
    • Architecture & Design:
      You will design and be responsible for the front-end architecture based on React and ensure that the application is robust, maintainable, and scalable.
    • UI/UX Design:
      Working closely with our subject matter experts, you will translate complex business processes into intuitive and user-friendly workflows and interfaces.
    • Component development:
      You will develop a reusable UI component library that serves as the basis for all modules of the platform.
    • API connection:
      You will connect the frontend to the REST APIs of our Python backend and ensure smooth and high-performance communication.
    • Quality assurance:
      You will establish and maintain a comprehensive testing strategy for the front end, from component to end-to-end testing.
    • Coordination:
      You will act as technical lead and coordinator for front-end development, including collaboration with external team members.

  • Requirements
    • Technical excellence:
      You are an expert in React and TypeScript and have in-depth, multi-year experience in building complex single-page applications.
    • State management:
      You are well-versed in using modern state management libraries such as Redux (Toolkit), State, or comparable solutions.
    • Architectural understanding: You have proven experience in designing scalable front-end architectures and creating reusable component libraries.
    • Quality awareness:
      Clean code, testing (with Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress), and clear documentation are a matter of course for you.
    • UI/UX flair:
      You have a keen eye for good design and a passion for intuitive, user-centered interfaces.
    • Languages:
      You communicate confidently in German and/or English.

Our technology stack

Our technology stack is based on Python in the backend with the FastAPI, Pydantic, and SQLAlchemy frameworks. We use PostgreSQL as our database. The infrastructure is operated on our own on-premise server with Docker and Nginx. For CI/CD processes, we use GitHub Enterprise in conjunction with Jenkins or GitLab CI. The frontend, which interacts with the backend, is developed with React and TypeScript.
